Performance Opportunities

  • Ilkley Playhouse
The Playhouse is always looking out for new actors from a wide range of backgrounds. If you would like to join their company and have acting experience, you must arrange an audition with their Casting Committee. If you are new to acting you could join their Adult Green Room classes, where you will develop your skills with smaller parts and a potential backstage role. If you would like to do this then you must contact the Artistic Director.  Click here for the website.

  • LAOS
To join Leeds Amateur Operatics Society, whether you’re a singer or a dancer, you will have to have a singing audition. This will normally take 15 minutes. You are asked to pick a song you feel comfortable with and perform for the society. There is also the opportunity for other roles in the society, such as social support.
